Brown Sugar Ham
Shared by Melanie Lowe from Dover, Delaware, this recipe calls for ingredients we almost always have on hand and cooks away while you go on about your day!
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 t. dry mustard
1 t. prepared horseradish
1/4 c. cola, divided
5 to 6-lb. boneless smoked ham, halved
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, mustard, horseradish and 2 tablespoons cola; mix well. Rub over ham; place in a slow cooker. Drizzle remaining cola over ham. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours, or until a meat thermometer inserted in thickest part of ham reads 140 degrees. Serves 15 to 20.
