Chicken Alfredo Pizza
Christa Kerr of DuBois, Pennsylvania shared this recipe...make it even quicker by using a ready-to-bake crust!
3 6-1/2 oz. pkgs. pizza crust mix
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 t. Italian seasoning
1 T. oil
16-oz. jar Alfredo sauce
8-oz. pkg. shredded Italian-blend cheese
12-oz. pkg. sliced mushrooms
1 onion, sliced and separated into rings
Prepare pizza crust according to package directions; divide dough evenly between two lightly greased 12" pizza pans. Press dough into pans; set aside. Sprinkle chicken with Italian seasoning; sauté in oil until cooked through. Cool; cut into 1/2-inch slices. Set aside. Spread half of the sauce on each crust; top with half each of chicken, cheese, mushrooms and onion. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes; cut into wedges. Serves 6 to 8.
