We get letters every day from our friends across the country...a hearty THANK YOU to all of you who write! Lots of these notes include recipes and memories destined for cookbooks, but some are just family photos or funny stories. We were tickled to open this one from our friend, Patti Strain in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Dear Vickie and Jo Ann,
I am a HUGE fan of Gooseberry Patch (I have almost all of your wonderful books) and whenever I want to get in a cozy frame of mind, I put on a pot of tea, light a fire, burn a cinnamon candle and grab a Gooseberry Patch book...the one I'm currently engrossed in is The Cozy Home Cookbook.
Last month, I had the pleasure of driving by car from Indiana to California and, while westbound on I-70 in Utah, I came across Gooseberry Road! I immediately thought of you and snapped the enclosed picture.
Please keep up the excellent work and know that you have many, many fans all over the world, even in Indiana! I travel quite a lot and I'm finding your books in more and more stores...I'm very happy to see that!
