Earth Day...it's easy!
Gather some sturdy terra cotta pots and an oversized tray...don't have a stockpile in your potting shed? Check out garden centers, hardware stores or even yard sales for these rustic clay pots in graduated sizes. Turned on their tops, they’ll stack easily and make a sturdy base.
Pick up a tray made to fit an oversized pot to use as your birdbath top. Get creative with paint and then spray with sealant to protect it from the weather. Cover the drainage hole in the tray with a rock and fill with water...the birds will love it!
