Mom’s Tasty Kielbasa
Jackie McBride of Barnesville, Ohio shared her recipe. She writes, "My mom made this for my wedding reception...she’s had the recipe so long that her copy is faded. It has a sweet-and-sour taste that’s so delicious!"
1 c. onion, sliced
1 c. celery, chopped
1 to 2 T. butter
1/2 c. catsup
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1 T. mustard
1 t. paprika
1 lb. Kielbasa, sliced into 1-inch pieces
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion and celery in butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients except Kielbasa. Mix well; add Kielbasa and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until sauce thickens, stirring often. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
