Chicken ’n Cheese Pie
Shared by Marilyn Williams of Westerville, Ohio. She writes, "This is the first recipe I passed on to my daughter after she got married…it’s a family favorite."
1-1/2 c. medium egg noodles, cooked
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
5-oz. can evaporated milk
2 5-oz. cans chicken, chopped
2 drops hot pepper sauce
4-oz. jar chopped pimiento
1/4 t. garlic salt
10-inch deep-dish pie crust
1/8 t. paprika
Combine all ingredients together except the crust and paprika; mix gently. Spread into pie crust; set on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with paprika; bake at 400 degrees until golden, about 25 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.
