This recipe was shared by Connie Magee of Dagsboro, Delaware. While a traditional strudel involves wrapping a fruit filling in pastry dough, this version is quick & easy and captures all the flavors!
Place a thick layer of apples in a buttered 13"x9" baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar; dot with butter. Mix together sugar, baking powder, flour, salt and egg until crumbly; sprinkle over apples and bake at 350 degrees until golden. Serves 16 to 20.
