The simplest recipes are often our favorites and when we hear that there are 5 or fewer ingredients, we're sold. Usually easy on the wallet and a cinch to remember, they're usually just as tasty as a dish with twice the ingredients. This week, we're looking for YOUR super-simple favorites.

This sweet dip is always a hit at game-day get-togethers (that's how it got its name!) but you'll enjoy it any time of year!
Touchdown Butterscotch Dip
Published in our cookbook, 101 Autumn Recipes, this recipe was originally shared with us by Melanie Lowe of Dover, Delaware. Thanks, Melanie!
2 11-oz. pkgs. butterscotch chips
5-oz. can evaporated milk
2/3 c. chopped pecans
Optional: 1 T. rum extract
apple and pear wedges
Combine butterscotch chips and evaporated milk in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 45 to 50 minutes, or until chips are softened; stir until smooth. Stir in pecans and extract, if using. Serve warm with fruit. Makes about 3 cups.
