Need something to wash down all that delicious food? There's nothing like a freshly-shaken lemonade just like you'd get from the fair. This recipe from Coming Home with Gooseberry Patch tastes just as good as the real deal.
1 lemon, halved
3 T. sugar
1-1/4 c. crushed ice
Squeeze juice from lemon halves into a 16-ounce shaker. Add sugar, enough ice to fill shaker 2/3 full and enough water to cover ice. Cover and shake until sugar dissolves. Pour over lemon halves in a tall glass. Makes one serving.
