Cucumber Canapés
This recipe was shared by Dawn Pryor of Jefferson, Maryland. She writes, "These are a favorite of my friends, family and co-workers. The fresh dill and chives combine for a distinct and refreshing flavor."
1 c. mayonnaise
3-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 T. onion, grated
1 T. fresh chives, minced
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 t. garlic powder
1/8 t. dried parsley
1/8 t. fresh dill, chopped
1 to 2 baguettes, thinly sliced
2 cucumbers, sliced
Combine the first 9 ingredients together in a blender; blend until smooth. Cover; refrigerate for 24 hours. Spread on bread slices; top with a cucumber slice. Makes about 4 dozen.
