Super-Easy Sausage Sandwiches
Spicy sausage with onions and peppers...one of our favorite sandwiches! This incredibly simple recipe from 101 Super-Simple Slow-Cooker Recipes will have you whipping up a batch of these in no time.
1-1/2 lbs. Italian pork sausage links
2 green peppers, sliced
1 onion, sliced
24-oz. can spaghetti sauce
pepper to taste
6 to 8 sandwich rolls, split
Place sausage links in a slow cooker. Layer peppers and onion over links; spoon sauce over all. Season with pepper. Cover and cook on low setting for 6 hours. Place sausages in rolls and top with peppers, onions and sauce from slow cooker. Serves 6 to 8.
