Ham & Linguine Toss
Shared with us by Melinda Grunden of Cecil, Ohio, this is a good summer meal, since it goes together quickly and doesn’t heat up the kitchen. Melinda says that even the leftovers are good cold!
16-oz. pkg. linguine pasta, uncooked
2 c. frozen peas, thawed
1/2 c. margarine
2 c. cooked ham, cubed
1/2 to 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to package instructions, adding peas during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and return to pan; add margarine and stir until melted. Add ham and Parmesan cheese; mix well and briefly heat through. Serves 6.
