It's official. We're ready for this new season and to leave winter's chill behind us for another year. We'd like to replace it with sunshine, chirping birds, buds blooming and all the tasty goodies spring has to offer.
To get us in the spirit, we've put together a delicious spring-inspired menu to share. From breakfast to dessert, we've gathered up something for everyone!
Sausage & Red Pepper Strata

There's nothing like a hearty breakfast when you wake up on a warm sunny morning, so this strata from 101 Breakfast & Brunch Recipes will definitely hit the spot. Sweet red pepper, cheese and savory sausage...just doesn't get any better!
6-oz. pkg. ground pork sausage
1/2 t. dried oregano
1/4 t. red pepper flakes
4 slices French bread, cubed
1/2 red pepper, diced
1 t. dried parsley
4 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1 t. Dijon mustard
1/4 t. pepper
1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Brown sausage with oregano and red pepper flakes in a skillet over medium heat; drain and set aside. Line the bottom of a greased 8"x8" baking pan with bread; top with sausage mixture, red pepper and parsley. Set aside. Whisk together eggs, milk, mustard and pepper. Pour evenly over sausage mixture; cover and refrigerate 8 hours to overnight. Bake, covered with aluminum foil, at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Remove foil; sprinkle with cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serves 4 to 6.
